Heidi and Kimball's Wedding

Wedding Flowers by Emily did BOTH the flowers and photography for this beautiful wedding!

I have been doing photography for a few years now but I have never tackled a full on wedding until yesterday. This was also the first wedding where I did both the flowers and photography.  I am thrilled with how it all turned out!

I was pretty nervous to be shooting at 12:00 in the afternoon (a photographers worst nightmare) but we made it work! No, the photos are not perfect but you can't convince every bride and groom to get married at 7pm when the lighting is the best. I had people holding things over the bride and groom's head to create shade and had people turn weird ways but I got some great shots and I absolutely loved the experience of photographing a wedding. There are no pictures of the actual wedding ceremony because photography is not allowed inside any LDS temple- fyi.

Funny story, the groom's brother and I actually went to BYU together and discovered I was the photographer for his brother's wedding while we were outside the Payson LDS Temple before the wedding happened. That was a fun surprise!

A big congrats to Heidi and Kimball for tying the knot and for being such good sports when I felt like I was constantly telling them to bend a certain angle or move a different way. Thanks for taking a chance on me! Congrats!
