Hi, I’m “the Emily” in Wedding Flowers by Emily. I like to keep myself busy rocking out to Just Dance, catching up on the latest YA novels, busting out a sweaty work out, and checking off my long list of personal ambitions. Some people thought I was crazy for starting a wedding flower business just 4 months after having my first child. But, that was exactly the creative outlet I needed. So, why flowers? I think it all comes back to my serious passion for making things look good.
I was exposed to the art of designing and arranging flowers at an early age. Making things look nice was part of my Southern upbringing. My interest in floral design continued to grow as I decided to do the flowers for my own wedding and later, take classes through Brigham Young University.
Today, I have created the flowers for hundreds of weddings and expanded my skills to include wedding photography as well. I am very confident in both my floral design and photography abilities. I love to make wedding flowers and photography a fun experience for my clients that results in a beautiful, more natural looking product. To me, putting together a wedding is all about catering the experience and product to match the personality and needs of the bride.
