I loved how this wedding turned out. Megan wanted her flowers to look like Spring. What better flowers than peonies, daises (feverfew), and dahlias to achieve this look? My mom was in town while I did this wedding and helped me put together some of the table arrangements. Even though she is the one who originally taught me how to arrange flowers, my skills have... uhm... surpassed hers. I had to "fire" her until she could make the arrangements the way I wanted them to look. :-) She took it in stride though and still helped with modeling the boutonnieres and corsages. Congrats to Megan and her new husband!

Derek and Nikki's Wedding
I was thrilled when Derek asked me to do the flowers for his wedding! Derek and I have known each other for a while and I was so happy to hear about his engagement to Nikki. What a beautiful couple they make! I am always excited to create and design the flowers for a wedding but it's always that much more special when you know the bride or groom personally. I only wish them both the very best a marriage could offer. Thanks for letting me be a part of your wedding and for letting me share some of your pictures from the big day! Congrats Derek and Nikki!

Shelby's Wedding
Whew! I feel like I haven't posted in a while - I have so many weddings I need to post on here! Shelby was my latest wedding. She had a beautiful venue to get married in with beautiful flowers to match. I really love the simplicity of an all tulip bouquet - so elegant. Shelby came with me to the wholesaler and picked out all the flowers herself - a service I offer to all my clients if they are interested in this. Congrats to the happy couple!
